New Jersey Cell Phone Laws

Cellphones have become infamous in the driving community because of the accidents that they have caused. Distracted drivers are now often on the streets, and that's why cell phone laws have been enacted. The state of New Jersey, in particular, has created very strict laws based on cellphone usage in a vehicle. To put it simply, it is not allowed. Texting while driving is illegal. And furthermore, there is a hand-held ban on all phones in the car. The vast majority of states have also taken measures to eliminate texting while driving. However, the complete ban on hand-held phones – as seen in New Jersey – is not as widespread.
